When you initially place your order, you have the option to choose which modpack you'd like pre-installed on your server, for qualifying servers only.
We've ensured that Modpack installations are super easy with our Control Panel, you'll find the list of currently supported modpacks available in the "JAR File" dropdown from your server view on the Control Panel
To install the desired modpack, select the modpack, ensure that the Minecraft EULA is accepted (otherwise the server will not complete start-up) and start your server (example below):
All of our Modpack installations are automated, you'll be able to see the progress of the installation from the Console view (Note: each installation script has been written automagically by our CDN, not all installation stages are visible or output to the console).
FAQ
- Why does my server shows as offline after I installed the Modpack, but I can connect?
- This commonly occurs when the server files use a different signal for marking the server as online than what our scripts are configured to parse for - it's nothing to worry about, your server will perform as expected. However, please raise a ticket detailing which modpack you installed and our engineering team will resolve the issues to ensure that your server shows as Online correctly.
- Can I change the modpack or version of Minecraft that my server uses after I've already started it?
- Of course! You're free to use whatever version of Minecraft your heart desires, check out this article for how to replace the Version/Modpack that's running on your server.
